Hiking At Hickory Run

Ladies and Gentleman, the long awaited road trip travelog at last! I will admit, it took so long partly because I got really lazy after uploading 500 photographs in one go and then putting aside ones in which my parents were in and then again, deleting the horrible ones. It was a long winded process. But I have prevailed. Anyway, I've decided I will write about the road trip in separate installments, each composing of one pit stop. Essentially, every place we visited was a pit stop including the penultimate stop: Chicago. We underestimated the amount of time we had to do everything so we spent a day in each state.
I'm going off track though. Ladies and Gents, the first pit stop was Pennsylvania (crowd roars)!
Oooookay so Pennsylvania isn't the most glamorous state in the blessed U.S. of A. and being a New Yorker, it should've been unspeakably boring. But seriously, I'd have to say that it was my favorite state. Stopping at Hickory Run State Park wasn't on the itinerary I'd made prior to starting the trip but it happened arbitrarily. I think that's what made it funner. I hadn't expected the beautiful waterfalls, the gorgeous view, the hiking adventures, really.

Such a pretty waterfall (yes, I did walk over it, Jack)
More pretty waterfalls
Oh, Hickory Run
Yay, rocks

    1. I never realized how beautiful the United States actually is. And that's actually funny because I'm looking to do a UK road trip one day as well :)
